Great Value
I was very pleased with my purchase. I had researched treadmills quite a bit before deciding on the Horizon T101. Most of my research stated that this was a good value for the price point and I would have to agree. The unit is sturdy smooth and quiet. I weigh 230 lbs and the T101 didn't have any issues. You will need 2 people to move the box. Assembling it was straight forward 3 basic steps took about an 45 minutes to an hour. Now let see how it does over the long haul. I'll amend my review should any issues arise.

So Far Satisfied and Happy
Bought this treadmill in January and I've been putting off writing a review until I'd used it regularly for a long period of time. I have been using this since mid-January as a way to do a running program and so far I have been very pleased with the purchase. I also reviewed many treadmills before buying this one and thought the price was within range for decent quality. I have not been disappointed at all. Assembly was not bad and I actually put it together myself so it can be done with only one person though adding the dashboard section was tricky.
When it arrived the delivery man brought it up to my apartment. I have not dealt with any customer service so I can't speak to that. There was a small nick in the belt from the trip but based on other customers' reviews I decided that it was small enough not to worry about.
The treadmill does everything I want it to. You adjust the incline by .5% and the speed adjusts by .1 mph so you can really run/walk to your perfect pace. The clock/calorie/distance monitor accurately measures in my experience and I've been very happy with the treadmill overall. My only small complaint would be its bulkiness. I had to move it from the living room to my bedroom before I had people over and that was quite a chore. It also folds up but is not/not compact at all. I don't think I fully realized that when I bought it probably because I was researching so many at the time that had similar specs. Also I wish I could turn off the clock/calorie/distance monitor sometimes so I'm not watching it all the time.
But definitely satisfied and happy my $600 didn't go to waste. I'm running up to 3 miles now and I'm absolutely pleased with the purchase. :)

Best Bang for your money
I'd been researching on doing a treadmill purchase for over a month and decided to go with a NordicTrack T5 Zi because of the delivery and assembly convenience from a local store. What a big mistake the delivery company for the local store failed on the first attempt and the customer service insulted me on the second attempt. I asked for a refund...
My second choice was always a Horizon Fitness treadmill. After reading the reviews about the quality and service of Horizon Fitness we decided to go with the T101 which is the basic model for 2010. Amazon had this with Free Super Saver shipping a saving of over a hundred bucks.
Got it today delivered by CEVA on time and in perfect condition packaging. It was very well packaged and really heavy. Assembly was incredible easy in fact easier than an elliptical machine I got 3 years ago. Quality is excellent it has 4 points screws on the arms instead of the 2 from NordicTrack this one feels really sturdy. In fact it looks higher in quality and the belt doesn't have the gap area on the sides like all the other ICON fitness machines at the same price range.
Tested it for a couple of minutes it have the same feel as a gym treadmill. For now I am really happy. Only time will tell.
